Music Academy of North Carolina

 

Swing Triade (Kevin Dollar and Chip Newton on guitars, Wayne Reich of violin) playing the music of Django and other swing tunes at Rioja! (on Battleground near Starbucks, Ghassan's and Ed McKay's) 1st Tuesday of the month (2/1, 3/1, 4/5, 5/4) and in concert for the MANC String Festival on 3/4 at the UNCG Organ Recital Hall. 

Also, the Astanza Project (Latin guitar-driven music, members include Kevin Dollar and Jim Boitnott on guitar) on 6/12 Koury Convention Center for the "Dance for Hope" 7-9 PM benefiting Urban Ministries, and on 7/13 for "Tunes at Noon" from 12-1:30pm at Center City Park in downtown GSO.
